About the Owners and Mascots of Dog Pad Bed'n'Biscuit
Tory grew up with 12 dogs. Her parents hunted/breed/ and showed Irish Setters, English Setters, Labs, and English Pointers. Tory went to college in Bozeman Montana and graduated in 1996 with a Biomedical Engineering Degree.
She moved to Minnesota in August of 1996 and started working for a start up company conducting their animal studies. In 1999 Tory bought her first house.....3 weeks later she got her very own yellow lab "Zeke" a certified therapy dog, and canine good citizen. In 2000 she started working for St. Jude Medical and in 2001 she gother second dog "Zo Zo" a certified therapy dog, canine good citizen. In 2002 she started managing the Minnesota Horse & Hunt Boarding Kennel.
In 2004 bought 8 acres of land with future plans to open a dog daycare. In 2004 she went back to engineering but "missed being with her dogs" had Griggs her adopted redbone coonhound by then. In August of 2004 Tory opened Dog Pad "where dogs can be dogs" Now in 2006, open just 2 years, she is averaging 14-25 dogs/day.
Tory met Mike at MHHC who is a dog lover, die hard hunter and added 2 more dogs to the family. Unfortunatly they lost "Winnie" last Thanksgiving but are expecting a puppy out of her daughter later this summer. T-Bone (shorthair pup) is looking wonderful in the field and on the couch.
Roo is the newest DogPad Mascot and her favorite pal is "Ole" the little springer spaniel that comes to play 5 days a week.
