Dog Pad K-9's of the Month

Meet Scooby

Our family is constantly on the go!  After going back to work, I noticed Scooby started acting sad, almost depressed when we had to leave the house in the morning.  He also had lots of energy at the end of the day when we were all tired.  I knew he felt lonely and wasn't geting enough exercise so decided to try "doggie day care".  One day a week has helped him a lot.  He comes home very tired but seems satisfied.  He is less restless the rest of the week.  This takes some of the guilt off of the family when our schedules get hectic because we know he has his play day to look forward to.

Scooby started coming to Dog Pad just prior to spring break.  We started with a few days of daycare as Scooby seems to have a little separation anxiety and we wanted to get him well adjusted before the Trapp family took their vacation and left Scooby at Canine Camp.  Since then Scooby has been wonderful.  On his daycare days he comes running out of his crate and jumps into the Dog Pad bus anxious to go play with his friends.  His favorite thing is by far chasing tennis balls (however the NOT bringing them back to me is also a favorite game.) Scooby has adjusted well to the Bed-n-Biscuit and is a pleasure to play with weekly.  Thanks Trapp family for letting Scooby be a Dog Pad Dog!!!!
